Ismailia Cardiac Center has a coronary care unit equipped with strong medical staff and up to date equipment. A Coronary Care Unit, or CCU, is an intensive care ward specializing in care for patients with heart attacks, unstable angina, cardiac dysrhythmia, or observation of cardiac patients.

During cardiac catheterization, a small tube called a catheter is inserted inside an artery or vein, then guided to the heart, where diagnostic or treatment procedures take place to ensure better cardiac health for the patient.
